Welcome to Locktogether. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Locktogether ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Locktogether is a collective app blocking service that allows users to form groups with friends. When any group member exceeds their screen time limit, the entire group receives a penalty (blocked apps). The service is designed to promote accountability and reduce screen time together.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Privacy and Anonymity

Locktogether is designed with privacy as a core principle:

Penalties are anonymous - group members only see "Someone cracked," never who
Individual usage statistics are never shared between group members
Screen time data remains on your device

5. Subscription and Payments

Locktogether offers both free and premium features:

Free users can create groups up to 3 members and join 1 group
Premium users can create groups up to 10 members and join up to 3 groups
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store
Free trial is 7 days with a reminder 1 day before it ends

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to circumvent the app blocking functionality
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Create multiple accounts to abuse the referral system

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Locktogether and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Screen Time blocking functionality depends on iOS permissions and may vary based on device settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locktogether shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.
